Chick Pea Soup
Chick Pea Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. lean beef or pork, 3-4 qts. water, 1 whole onion, 1-2 celery stalks and 3 cans chick peas, rinsed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Brown beef (or pork). Add water to meat. Add onion and celery. Simmer for 3 hours. Discard onion and celery. Add chick peas, carrots, potatoes and sausage. Simmer for 2 hours. Add salt & pepper to taste.
