Chichi Dango(Microwave)
Chichi Dango(Microwave) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. mochiko, 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. skim milk, 1/2 c. + 5 tbsp. water and 1/2 tsp. vanilla or banana extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix mochiko and sugar.
Add milk and water.
Stir until well mixed.
Add extract and food coloring.
Mix well.
Spray a 5 cup microwave Bundt or ring pan with Pam.
Pour mixture into pan. Cover with plastic wrap.
Microwave on High for 5 minutes.
Remove and cool (be careful, the mochi will be very hot and sticky). When completely cooled, cut with plastic knife and roll in potato starch or kinako.
