"Chic's Speciality" Almond Butter Crunch
"Chic'S Speciality" Almond Butter Crunch is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 1/3 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. water, 1 tbsp. light corn syrup and 4 to 4 1/2 oz. milk chocolate, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Melt butter in large saucepan.
Add sugar, corn syrup and water.
Cook, stirring occasionally to hard-crack stage (300Β°). Immediately spread on ungreased cookie sheet or 13 x 9 1/2-inch pan.
Cool thoroughly.
Turn out on waxed paper.
Spread with chocolate and sprinkle with half of finely chopped nuts.
Set aside until chocolate is well set.
If necessary, chill to set chocolate.
Turn and coat other side with chocolate and nuts. Break into pieces when cooled and dry.
