Chewy Oatmeal Cookies
Chewy Oatmeal Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. crisco (butter flavor), 1 1/4 c. packed light brown sugar, 1 egg, 1/3 c. milk and 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Heat oven to 375Β°.
Combine Crisco, brown sugar, egg, milk and vanilla in large bowl.
Beat at medium speed of electric mixer; blend well.
Combine oats, flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix into creamed mixture at low speed just until blended.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto greased baking sheet.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool 2 minutes on cooling rack.
