Chewy Oatmeal Cookies
Chewy Oatmeal Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter flavored crisco, 1 1/4 c. light brown sugar (packed), 1 egg, 1/3 c. milk and 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix Crisco, brown sugar, egg, milk and vanilla.
Blend well. Combine oats, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Mix to creamed mixture.
Mix on low speed until just blended.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
Drop rounded tablespoonfuls 2-inches apart on greased baking sheet.
Bake at 375Β° for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
