Chewy Date Cookies
Chewy Date Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 c. cut dates, 1/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. water, 1/2 lb. oleo and 1 c. white sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cook dates, 1/4 cup sugar and water until thick.
Sift flour, soda and salt.
Cream oleo, white sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Mix all together and beat well.
Add nuts.
Drop on a greased cookie sheet pan and bake 12 to 15 minutes at 375Β°.
Before baking, brush tops of cookies with beaten egg.
