Chess Pie
Chess Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c softened butter or oleo, 1 1/2 c sugar, divided, 4 eggs, 1 c heavy cream and 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch or flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream together butter and one cup sugar until fluffy; beat in egg yolks, cream, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Pour in pie shell; bake until brown and knife comes out clean.
Beat egg whites until foamy and beat in remaining sugar until mixture stands in stiff peaks.
Spread on pie onto edges.
Bake in oven until lightly browned.
Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
