Chess Cake
Chess Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with golden recipe butter yellow cake mix, 1 stick margarine, 1 egg, 1 lb. powdered sugar and 8 oz. pkg. philadelphia cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Preheat oven margarine in 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Over melted margarine.
Add 1 egg, mix well. (I hands and work up like dough.) Pat over bottom and like pie crust.
Mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar.
Eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
