Cherry Nut Loaf
Cherry Nut Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 small bottle maraschino cherries, 1 c. softened butter, 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, separated and 1 c. sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Drain cherries, reserving juice.
Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks, sour cream and reserved juice.
Sift together flour, baking powder and baking soda and add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter.
Add cherries and nuts.
Bake in 350Β° oven for 45 minutes in 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
