Cheesy Vegetable Casserole
Cheesy Vegetable Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, 1 c. chopped celery, 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper, 1/3 c. chopped onion and 1 c. mayonnaise, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cook vegetables in small amount of water until tender.
Season with salt, pepper, bacon grease and 1 teaspoon sugar.
Most of the liquid should be cooked out.
Combine vegetables, celery, bell pepper, onion, mayonnaise and cheese.
Mix well. Spoon into 2-quart greased casserole dish. Cook at 300Β° until heated through and through and bubbly.
Remove from oven. Top with buttered cracker crumbs. Return to oven and cook until brown.
