Cheesy Onion Casserole
Cheesy Onion Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter, 3 large vidalia (sweet) onions, sliced, 2 c. swiss cheese, divided, pepper to taste and 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

In skillet, melt butter and saute onions until clear and slightly brown.
Layer onions and 2/3 of the cheese and pepper into a 2-quart casserole.
In saucepan, heat soup (undiluted) and milk and soy sauce.
Stir to blend.
Pour gently over onions and cheese.
Stir gently.
Top with buttered bread slices.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
Take out of oven and push down bread slices into sauce.
Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake 15 minutes more.
