Cheesy Dijon Chicken
Cheesy Dijon Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. dry bread crumbs, 1 3/4 tsp. dried basil, 1 tsp. onion powder, 5 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves and 2 tbsp. dijon or prepared mustard, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine crumbs, basil and onion powder.
Spread one side of chicken breasts with mustard.
Coat with crumb mixture.
Dip into eggs, then again into crumbs.
Prepare Rice-A-Roni as package directs.
In skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
Add chicken; cook 6 minutes on each side or until brown.
Top rice with chicken and cheese.
Cover; let stand 5 minutes.
