Cheeseburger Rice
Cheeseburger Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 small onion, chopped, 1 1/2 c. water, 1/2 c. ketchup and 2 tbsp. mustard, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Brown meat and onion in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain fat. Stir in water, ketchup, mustard, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice; cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork. Sprinkle with cheese; cover. Let stand 3 minutes or until cheese melts.
Garnish with lettuce, pickles and tomato slices, if desired.
