Cheese Spins
Cheese Spins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sifted plain flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/3 c. milk and 2 tbsp. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Heat oven to 425Β°.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Cut shortening into flour mixture; stir in milk.
Turn out on floured board; knead lightly.
Roll out into a rectangle. Spread cheese over biscuit dough.
Roll like a jelly roll.
Cut into 1-inch slices and place on top of mixture in casserole (Beef-Garden Casserole).
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
