Cheese Filled Meat Loaf
Cheese Filled Meat Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. lean, ground beef, 1 egg, beaten, 1/4 c. finely chopped onion, 2 (8-oz.) cans tomato sauce and 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine beef, 1 can tomato sauce, egg, bread crumbs, onion and seasonings.
Divide mixture in half.
Lightly pack 1/2 mixture in a foil lined pan.
Arrange 4 slices of cheese on top, then pack the remaining meat mixture over cheese layer.
Cut remaining cheese slices into strips and arrange on top of loaf.
(This may be done the last 30 minutes of baking.)
