Cheese Filled Manicotti
Cheese Filled Manicotti is an impressive dinner. Made with 3/4 lb. ground beef, 1/4 lb. pork sausage, 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste, 1/2 c. chopped onion and 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Brown meats; drain fats.
Add water, tomato paste, onion, mushrooms, oregano, 1 1/2 tablepoons salt, sugar and garlic. Simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
Combine cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley and 1/2 tablespoon salt. Cook manicotti in water until tender, about 20 minutes.
Drain. Rinse in cold water; drain.
