Cheese-Egg Fondue
Cheese-Egg Fondue is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 slices white bread, 8 eggs, 4 c. milk, 2 tsp. parsley, minced and 3/4 tsp. dry mustard, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Remove crust from bread and put one layer of bread in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Layer your choice of filling and 1/2 of cheese.
Cover with the remaining slices of bread.
Beat eggs, milk and seasonings together and pour over bread.
Bake uncovered 1 hour or until center is set.
Prior to baking completion, add remaining half of cheese to allow for melting. Serve immediately.
Can be prepared ahead of time and left in refrigerator.
Allow for extra baking time.
