Cheese and Onion Bread
Cheese And Onion Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. milk, 2 tbsp. honey, 1/4 c. butter, 2 tsp. salt and 2 pkg. yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Scald milk.
Add honey, butter and salt.
Allow this to cool to skin temperature.
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup water (warm).
Add yeast to milk mixture when cool.
Beat egg well.
Then add egg, cheese and onion to milk and beat until relatively smooth.
Add whole wheat flour and beat well.
Gradually add white flour, stirring until dough leaves sides of bowl.
Knead dough about 10 minutes.
Allow to rise once in the bowl and then again in the pans until doubled in size.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for about 40 minutes.
Makes 2 loaves.
