Cheddar Chowder
Cheddar Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. boiling water, 2 c. diced potatoes, 1/2 c. sliced carrots, 1/2 c. sliced celery and 1/4 c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Add water to potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt and pepper.
Cover; simmer 10 minutes.
Do not drain.
Make white sauce with margarine, flour and milk.
Add cheese; stir until melted.
Add ham and undrained vegetables.
Heat; do not boil. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
