Celery Casserole
Celery Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. celery, cut diagonally, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 (5 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, 1/4 c. pimientos and 1/4 c. slivered almonds, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cook sliced celery in salted water for 4 minutes.
(Do not overcook.)
Drain and toss with soup, almonds and pimientos. Place in buttered casserole and cover with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 325Β° for 25 minutes (until crumbs are brown).
This is good with chicken.
