Celebration Chocolate Chip Pie
Celebration Chocolate Chip Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell, 2 eggs, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted and 3 to 4 tbsp. bourbon or 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Prepare pastry shell; set aside.
Beat eggs slightly in small mixer bowl; gradually add sugar.
Add melted butter or margarine and bourbon or vanilla; mix well.
Blend in cornstarch.
Stir in pecans and chocolate chips; pour into unbaked pastry shell.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 to 50 minutes.
Cool 1 hour and serve warm with a dollop of Festive Whipped Cream (see recipe following).
