Cavatappi Pompilio
Cavatappi Pompilio is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) pkg. cavatappi, 3 c. whipping cream, 3/4 tbsp. garlic, minced, 2 c. onion, julienned and 2 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cook cavatappi according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in a large pot, heat cream and add garlic, onions and mushrooms.
Cook three minutes, stirring constantly.
Stir in butter, capicolla ham and basil.
Stir until butter melts.
Add hot pasta, pea pods and sauce, Parmesan, salt and pepper.
Let thicken.
Serves 8.
