Casserole Bread
Casserole Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1 c. warm water, 4 c. flour, 1 tbsp. sugar and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Dissolve yeast in 1 cup of warm water.
Sift together flour, sugar and salt.
Mix yeast mixture and flour mixture together. Add about 1 cup warm water to make a soft dough.
Cover and rise until doubled.
Grease 2 casserole dishes.
Put raised dough on floured board and knead a few times.
Divide dough in half.
Put in dishes.
Raise again.
When done, butter top and take out of dishes and cool.
Bake at 400Β° for 40 minutes or until done.
