Carrot Torte is an easy dinner. Made with 6 eggs, separated, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 lb. ground nuts (about 1 c.), 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring and 1/2 lb. ground carrots (about 3 large), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Beat yolks until thick.
Add sugar and beat.
Add ground carrots and nuts.
Beat thoroughly.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and flavoring.
