Carrot Halva is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. raw carrots, grated, 1 lb. brown sugar, 14 oz. can condensed milk, 1/2 c. water and 1/2 lb. butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Mix carrots, sugar, milk and water in heavy pan.
Boil until almost dry, stirring constantly.
Add butter and cook again until almost dry.
Add raisins and coconut. Spread in a shallow greased pan and refrigerate.
Cut into squares when cold.
