Carrot Cake

Beat sugar and egg yolks until light.
Add oil and beat.
Mix together all dry ingredients and add to sugar, egg and oil mixture.
Add crushed pineapple, carrots and butter flavor.
Add nuts.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 325Β° for 45 minutes or toothpick comes out clean.
