Carrot Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 3/4 c. applesauce, 1 c. whole wheat flour, 1/2 c. white flour and 1 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Lightly coat a loaf pan with margarine or butter, then dust with flour.
Mix sugar and applesauce in a bowl.
Combine dry ingredients and add to applesauce mixture.
Add carrots, vanilla, and nuts.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Mix well.
Pour into pan and bake for 50 minutes.
