Carolyn's Butter Cookies
Carolyn'S Butter Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. butter, 3 c. powdered sugar, 2 eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. almond extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cream butter; gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs and extracts.
Sift together flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt.
Add gradually to creamed dough.
Chill. Roll in flour if too rich.
Roll out to 1/2 or 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut out to desired shapes, using cookie cutters.
Bake at 350Β° for 6 minutes only on lightly greased cookie sheet.
