Carol's Wonderful Biscuits
Carol'S Wonderful Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. self-rising flour, 1/2 c. nonfat dry milk, 1/2 c. crisco and water (enough to get a good consistency), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cut shortening into flour and nonfat dry milk until it has the consistency of cornmeal.
Add about 1/2 cup water and mix.
If the dough seems too thick, add a little more water and really stir strongly with a large spoon.
Roll out and cut.
Bake at 400Β° until lightly browned.
You can store uneaten biscuits in a Tupperware bowl in the refrigerator.
To reheat, you can wrap in a damp paper towel and microwave carefully (1 biscuit only for about 10 seconds) or place in a preheated oven for a few minutes.
