Caramel-Pecan Sauce
Caramel-Pecan Sauce is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. light cream, 1/2 c. chopped pecans, almonds, walnuts or cashews and 3 tbsp. margarine or butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In a heavy saucepan combine sugar, brown sugar, light cream and margarine.
Cook over medium-high heat until boiling, stirring constantly to dissolve the sugars.
Reduce heat.
Cook and stir for 5 minutes more or until slightly thickened.
Stir in chopped pecans.
Let stand 10 minutes.
