Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 10 minutes. Made with c. light brown sugar, margarine, of cream of tartar, of salt and c. light corn syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix sugar, syrup and butter in heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add soda, cream of tartar and salt. Immediately pour over popped corn.
Mix lightly but thoroughly.
Place in a large roaster and bake at 200Β° for 1 hour.
Pour on waxed paper and separate grains.
Yields 20 servings.
Store in airtight container.
