Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 lb. (2 sticks) oleo, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. white or dark karo and popped corn, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Blend brown sugar, oleo, salt and Karo together and boil 8 minutes.
Take pan off heat and add baking soda and butter.
Into very large mixing bowl, pour mixture over 6 quarts popped corn. Peanuts or pecans can be added to popped corn.
Mix thoroughly. Bake on 2 cookie sheets at 200Β° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
