Caramel Apple Cheesecake
Caramel Apple Cheesecake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs, 3 tbsp. sugar, 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon, 1/4 c. melted margarine and 1 c. apple pie filling, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In a small bowl, stir together the pie filling and chopped apple; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, brown sugar and flour.
Beat with electric mixer until smooth.
Add eggs and yolk, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Beat in cinnamon, extract and nutmeg.
Stir in whipping cream.
Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
Spoon on 1 cup of the apple mixture.
Pour the remaining cream cheese mixture over the apple; top with remaining apple mixture.
Without disturbing the crust, swirl the blade of a knife throughout the filling to distribute the fruit evenly.
