Camembert French Bread
Camembert French Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 4 oz. camembert cheese, 1 large loaf french bread, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1/4 tsp. basil and 1/2 tsp. onion salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine cheese, butter, basil and onion salt.
Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Cool for 10 minutes until starts to thicken, stirring occasionally.
Slice bread lengthwise.
Spread some of the cheese mixture on cut surfaces. Put loaf together and spread remaining cheese mixture on top and sides.
Wrap in foil and bake at 325Β° for 20 minutes.
Turn back foil and bake for 5 more minutes.
Slice to serve.
