California Wine Cake
California Wine Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box yellow cake mix, 1 box instant vanilla pudding, 4 eggs, 3/4 c. corn oil and 3/4 c. cream sherry wine or white wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix ingredients for 4 minutes at medium speed.
Fold in pecans after mixing.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 50 minutes.
Cool 5 minutes and remove from pan.
Sprinkle top with powdered sugar or mix 1 stick butter, 1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup of same type of wine used in cake; boil them 3 minutes and pour over cake while hot, letting stand in pan at least 30 minutes to cool.
