Made with 3 c. cooked, diced chicken, 2 c. thinly sliced celery, 1/2 c. slivered salted almonds, 1/4 c. pimento, cut in narrow strips and 1 1/4 c. mayonnaise, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Toss with fork the chicken, celery, almonds, pimento and mayonnaise blended with lemon juice, grated onion and seasonings. Fill a shallow greased casserole or individual ramekins.
Mix grated cheese and potato chips. Sprinkle over salad mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 375Β° for about 30 minutes.
If using a casserole, it should be heated through and lightly browned.
