Cabbage Rolls(Malfoof)
Cabbage Rolls(Malfoof) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 cabbage (medium head), 1 c. rice, washed and drained, 1 c. beef or lamb, ground, 3 tbsp. butter and 1 clove garlic, crushed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Core and parboil cabbage until limp.
Cut leaves in half, removing the ribs.
Set oven at 400Β°.
Combine all ingredients except cabbage leaves, tomato paste and water.
Place a heaping tablespoonful of the filling in a leaf lengthwise.
Fold the outside edges 1/2 inch towards center and roll.
Arrange in a casserole dish or small roaster.
