Cabbage Casserole
Cabbage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium onion, chopped, 3 tbsp. butter, 1 lb. ground round or hamburg, 1 medium size head coarsely shredded cabbage and 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Saute onion in butter.
Add ground beef, salt and pepper. Heat through, but not browning.
Spread half shredded cabbage in 2-quart baking dish.
Cover with meat mixture.
Top with remaining cabbage.
Pour tomato soup over the top.
Cover.
Bake 1 hour at 350Β°.
For change, I add 1 cup of instant rice in meat mixture. Works in slow pot.
