Cabbage Bean Soup

Brown sausage.
Add onions and saute until tender.
Stir in salt, thyme, pepper, cabbage, tomatoes and broth or water.
Bring to a boil.
Stir in beans.
Reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until cabbage is done.
