Butterscotch Date Cookies
Butterscotch Date Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. plain flour, 1 c. sour cream, 1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 2 eggs and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease cookie sheet.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
Combine all ingredients, except dates and nuts, in a large bowl.
Blend at low speed until moistened.
Beat 1 minute on medium speed.
By hand stir in dates and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonful 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool 1 minute.
Remove from sheet and frost cookies.
