Butterscotch Cookies
Butterscotch Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 2 large eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In a large bowl, beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Add vanilla. Combine oats, baking soda and salt.
Add alternately with water to creamed mixture.
Stir in butterscotch and nuts.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375Β° for 8 to 10 minutes, until edges are lightly browned. Yields about 6 dozen cookies.
