Butterscotch Brownies
Butterscotch Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. light brown sugar (packed), 2 eggs and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Preheat oven to 350°.
Over hot (not boiling) water, melt the butterscotch morsels and butter or margarine.
Remove from heat. Stir in brown sugar.
Cool 5 minutes, blending eggs and vanilla. Sift together and stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir in nuts.
Spread in ungreased and lightly floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
Cut into 2-inch squares.
Yields 2 dozen.
