Buttermilk Pound Cake
Buttermilk Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. crisco or margarine, 2 1/2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 3 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix with hands (does better).
Mix Crisco and sugar; add eggs one at a time.
Add sifted flour and salt.
Add vanilla and lemon. In separate bowl add buttermilk, soda and water, then add to other blended ingredients.
Flour or sugar well-greased Bundt pan (Crisco or margarine).
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300Β°.
Preheat oven. Test.
