Buttermilk Biscuits
Buttermilk Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. self-rising flour, 6 tbsp. crisco and 2/3 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Preheat oven to 450Β°.
Measure flour and run through sifter. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
Knead shortening with hands into mixture.
Pour in milk and knead until dough is soft and puffy. Roll dough out to 1/2-inch thick.
Cut with biscuit cutter.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes approximately 10 biscuits.
