Made with 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1/4 c. vegetable shortening (solid), 2 1/2 c. confectioners sugar, sifted, 3/4 tsp. vanilla and 1 1/2 tbsp. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cream butter and shortening.
Add vanilla.
Gradually add sugar, beating well on medium speed.
Scrape sides and bottom of bowl often.
When all sugar has been mixed, add milk and beat on high speed until light and fluffy.

Also, food coloring or cocoa can be added to make different colors or flavor.
