Butter Pound Cake

Have ingredients at room temperature. Cream the butter, shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time.
Add flour and milk, alternating. Add flavorings. Start in cold oven at 325Β° on center shelf. Keep oven closed. Test in 1 hour but usually takes between 5 and 10 minutes longer.
Makes a large cake!
