Butter Cookies
Butter Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks butter or margarine, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1/2 tsp. almond extract and 2 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream butter.
Gradually sugar.
In egg and almond extract (by hand).
Gradually in flour.
Chill dough for ease in handling.
Roll out dough on lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness.
(We like them thin; however, you can make them thicker, if so desired.) Cut into desired shapes and bake at 350Β° ungreased cookie sheet (about 10 minutes, or until golden brown). with confectioners sugar frosting when cool.
