Busy Day Pot Roast
Busy Day Pot Roast is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 to 4 lb.) boneless beef chuck roast, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted, 1 envelope onion soup mix and 1 tbsp. bottled steak sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Heat oven to 325Β°.
Put meat in a heavy Dutch oven.
Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl; spread over top and sides of roast.
Cover and bake about 3 hours or until tender.
Lift meat to cutting board.
Let stand about 5 minutes; then cut in thin slices.
Pour gravy into a sauce boat to spoon over each serving.
