Burgers Florentine
Burgers Florentine is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 10 oz. chopped spinach, frozen, 1 tbsp. snipped parsley, 1/3 c. bread crumbs, 2 lb. ground beef and 2 tbsp. green pepper, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cook spinach.
Drain.
Combine spinach, cottage cheese, parsley and dash of salt; mix well and set aside.
Combine egg, crumbs and teaspoon salt; add beef and mix well.
On wax paper, make 16 thin patties, 3-inches in diameter.
Place 2 tablespoons spinach mixture on each of 8 patties.
Top with remaining patties and seal edges.
Brown in skillet; drain and set aside.
In same skillet, combine remaining ingredients.
Return burgers to skillet and simmer 20 minutes.
