Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Grease pan with shortening.
Sprinkle with flour.
In a large bowl, blend flour, sugar, powder, salt, oil, pineapple, vanilla, extract and eggs.
Beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 70 to 80 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool upright in pan 15 minutes.
Loosen edge of cake from pan. Cool on wire rack.
Cool completely. Glaze with Fruit Cake Glaze.
